Exams

Whither a new exam, routine checkup or an urgent visit, it all starts with a good communication. No one can read minds, so start with what brings you in, and we will use our tools, expertise and experience to figure it out.

Sometimes, problems are easy to diagnose, other times are not. There is no magic tool that can solve mysteries of the body. Sometimes a good look with bright light does the trick, other times XRAYS do help, but most of times it takes a lot more. And frankly, on occasions we may never find out.

We have a CBCT X-ray machine (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), these are the new generation of digital radiographs that take pictures of your entire teeth (like CT scans you get in hospitals).  In addition, we have intra oral scanner, which can take images and impressions of your teeth and mouth.

Prevention and cleanings

Prevention is better than cure. Most prevention tools are readily available and can be found over the counter, at your home and stores. With some education, you can use these tools on your own and save yourself a ton of money.

Fluoride and sealants, by far, are the best tools for preventing most dental decay.

Preventive dental cleanings are excellent time for checkups to see if you are still doing ok or needing encouragement. Get Fluoride treatment, and have build-ups and stains removed off your teeth.

Fillings and restorations

Your natural teeth are the best there is, and hope you do your best to keep them as long as you can, but nothing lasts forever. And the more you care for them, the longer they will last.

When the time comes, fillings can be useful to restore that which has gone.

Fillings can be small or huge. Some are temporary, while others last long.

Fillings don't have expiration date or service guarantee..

Plastic fillings remain, so far, among the most affordable treatment options.

Crowns & Bridges (Prosthetic & Cosmetic)

Your natural teeth are the best and hope that yo do your best to keep them as long as you can.  Nothing lasts forever, but the more you care for them, the longer they last.

When the time comes, crowns can be used to restore that huge chunks of tooth that are gone, bridges can cover the gaps where teeth gone missing. Or perhaps you desire to see yourself in a different smile

Crowns do restore and protect vulnerable teeth. Bridges  can be short in length, or long. We use ceramic crowns and bridges that are white in color to match your teeth.

Crowns once placed in your mouth, have no expiration dates or minimum service expectation. They do tend to work for a long time. Your crown doesn't decay or rot, but the tooth underneath them sure does. So take care of your teeth.

Dentures

Your natural teeth are the best and hope you do your best to keep them as long as you can.  Nothing lasts forever, but the more you care for them, the longer they will last.

When the time comes and you lose your teeth for one reason or another, dentures can be an affordable option to bring something back.

Denture are removable false teeth that sit in your mouth by resting on your gums. You would take them out for cleaning at night.

They are made out of plastic and made in laboratories, but sometime they can be printed on a 3D printer using digital impressions. All dentures tend to wear out over time and become loose, where your gums continue to shrink slowly over time, which leaves a gap between your gums and dentures. While it differs from one person to another, denture last for about 5 years.

Dentures can replace few missing teeth (partial denture), or could replace all teeth (full denture). However, both cost the same, regardless of number of teeth missing. This is why dentures remain the least expensive treatment options for missing teeth.

Surgicals (Teeth extractions and other surgical procedures)

There are times when you no longer wish to keep your tooth in your mouth. When that time comes, you need it to be as easy as possible. While all extractions are traumatic in nature and done when all other options have been exhausted, sometimes they are the only option to relieve pain and bring closure.

When having a tooth pulled, always remember, you are always in control. If it hurts during the procedure, the dentist must be doing something wrong. Make sure you tell them when that happens, because they can't read your mind. Most of the times, more anesthetic can make you feel better. Other times, extra time might do the trick, but on rare occasions, full numbness is not possible, maybe because the tooth might be infected, or your nerves are difficult to reach.

A successful procedure doesn't always have to be quick, but a comfortable one. Post care instructions are important to follow for speedy recovery, fewer complications and to spare you a terrible pain called a "dry socket".

Tooth Whitening (Bleach)

Whitening teeth can be done by removing stains, interior stain can be removed by bleaching. Bleaching is an affordable and convenient way for whitening teeth.

It is not harmful but causes temporary sensitivity.
